To export images, go to File and then select Export. By selecting the appropriate tab in the export dialog, you can either save your work as a figure, or all images individually. This section describes the settings that are available for each type of export.
To export all images on the canvas as one figure, select the Figure tab in the export dialog.
Select "All" from the drop down list if you want to export all images on the canvas as a figure or "Selection" if you want to export only the images that are currently selected as a figure.
Choose whether to export the figure as a tif or jpeg.
Un-check the box if you want the background color of your figure to be the same as the background color of the canvas. By default the background of the exported figure is transparent.
Check the box to export the figure as grey scale.
You can select the resolution that the figure is exported at. The resolution can be set for use on the screen (96dpi), printing and publications (300dpi) or you can enter a desired resolution. The figure in Cytosketch is resolution independent, on export Cytosketch scales the whole figure so that it is the appropriate size for the chosen resolution. Because images in Cytosketch are scalable this will not cause the figure to become pixelated even if the export resolution is larger than the screen resolution.
To export individual images, select the Image tab in the export dialog. Each image is exported at full size.
Select "All" from the drop down list if you want to export all images that are on the canvas or "Selected" to export images that are currently selected.
Choose whether to export the images as tifs or jpegs.
Check the box to export the images as grey scale.
Choose whether to export the images with their image name, the canvas name plus a number or a sequential number plus a prefix.
